This piece was created for an assignment to research a media crisis and analyze it in a succinct report.
Activision Blizzard has been sued regarding harassment and discrimination of female employees. Their inital response to the media crisis was insensitive and hostile, demonstrating a lack of crisis planning.
This project demonstrates my ability to research and analyze a topic, and convey information in a meaningful way.
I intially began with a different crisis response, but my research revealed that the crisis was one in a series of disasters, making the topic unweildly. I made the difficult decision to change topics at the last minute. This report was reseached, analyzed and written in a single day.

This piece was created for Professor Rebecca L. Cooney's COMSTRAT 701, Spring 2022 semester. The assignment was to create a meaningful and interesting infographic.
This infographic is designed to help Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA youth pack for different types of events and camping trips. The information combines the Cub Scout six essentials, the Scouts BSA basic essentials and a typical summer camp camping list in one easy-to-read infographic.

This social media style guide was created as part of coursework to demostrate my ability to define a cohesive voice for an organizaton.
This style guide is for the social media channels used by the Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation. The department uses channels shared with other departments, as well as independently run channels. It is essential to create a consistent voice and reliable voice.

Daring Youth Belong! was created for Brett Atwoods's COMSTRAT 563, Summer 2021. This semester-long project was to create and implement a digital content promotion program for a brand.
I created a fictional youth conservation club, loosely based on scouting organizations. I created a website, blog, Facebook page and Twitter channel for this group, and implemented a marketing campaign. The fictional organization, complete down to their event schedule, demostrates my creativity with branding and content promotion.

For this project, I selected a local youth marijuana use prevention campaign pilot study. The campaign was good at raising awareness of the consequences of teen marijuana use, but less effective in use prevention. This is an example of my academic writing style.
