I am a Public Information Officer supporting Washington County's Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan update. This includes review of the mitigation plan and public outreach about natural resources and the updates to the plan.

I participated in Emergency Operations Center 2019 training as part of the Washington County Joint Information Center for a training exercise simulating a bioweapon attack and prophylaxis medication distribution response. My role in the exercise was to respond to media requests.

I provided support to Washington County's Joint Information Center during the COVID-19 Pandemic Response in 2020-2021. This included weekend JIC coverage, participating in weekly planning meetings and serving as the Public Information Officer on call.

I completed the Advanced Public Information Officer Certification in 2018. I participated in the Portland, Oregon, training alongside staff from the surrounding counties, utilities, law enforcement, and emergency responders. The weeklong intensive training was comprehensive and timely.
